Meet Tom and Wilma

About the Authors:

Wilma Espaillat English grew up in a bilingual, bicultural family in New York and New Jersey, learning firsthand the significance of hospitality in the Hispanic culture. Today she is a published writer, speaker and educator. She has taught a variety of subjects at both high school and college levels, including Spanish and Ancient World History. She has written high school curriculum for classes in Multicultural Studies from a Judeo-Christian perspective, and conducted seminars for civic groups, including law enforcement agencies. She has also taught Bible and Christian Life topics to adults of all ages. She’s the wife of Tom English.

Tom English grew up in a “Southern fried” family in rural Virginia. Today he is a Senior Chemist at Newport News Shipbuilding. He is also a published writer and an award-nominated editor of both fiction and nonfiction. His fantasy and adventure stories have appeared in various magazines and several print anthologies, including Detective Thrillers Short Stories, Haunted House Short Stories, and Gaslight Arcanum: Uncanny Tales of Sherlock Holmes. Tom also edited the mammoth hardcover Bound for Evil: Curious Tales of Books Gone Bad, a 2008 Shirley Jackson Award finalist for best anthology. He is currently the editor of the retro-flavored science fiction magazine Black Infinity. Like his wife, Wilma, he has extensive knowledge in Biblical Studies and has taught Christian Life classes to both singles and married couples of all ages. He resides with Wilma, surrounded by books and beasts, deep in the woods of New Kent, Virginia.
